The Pedagogical Centre in Pforzheim was first established in 1999 and has been certified by the Supervisory School Authority of Karlsruhe as a free teaching institution.
Our integration courses are subsidised by the Federal Office of Migration and Refugees.

About Us
Evguenia Engelmann is a graduate of the State University of Irkutsk, Russia, where she studied linguistics to become a German and English teacher. In Germany she obtained the first state exam for teachers at primary and secondary schools. She teaches German as a second language at the Pedagogical Centre in Pforzheim.
The management of the Pedagogical Centre is assisted by staff who have been working for us as teachers for many years.
The Pedagogical Centre likes to work with qualified teachers and teachers in training.
Our language courses are taught either by native speakers or by teachers who have lived and worked abroad for extended periods.
Anyone teaching integration courses holds the qualifications necessary as per the German Immigration Law, and our staff also attends follow-up training for specific additional qualifications which authorises them to teach by the Federal Office for Migration and Refugees (BaMF).
